Late afternoon, early evening

Today was the last time we had to go to the hospital for a bath. Or so I hope. In two weeks time my son will be relieved of the von Rosen splint he has had to wear for close to ten weeks. If the efficacy is as good as they say, nothing more will have to be done in terms of treatment. 100 years ago he might have developed a limp or, worse still, unending pain in his later life. And they speak of the "good old days"...
